Lonzo Ball became the 13th Chicago Bulls player to be placed under the NBA’s health and safety protocols for Covid-19. The 6’6 ″ security guard blames Twitter.
Lonzo Ball was ubiquitous in an injury and illness ravaged 2021/22 season. The 6’6 ″ guard had, on average, the highest workload of his career up to this point.
The Bulls have had Lonzo in all 29 games so far. Ball had lived up to expectations to join the team as a free agent. In addition to being their playmaker, Lonzo was also one of the top 10 perimeter defenders in the league.
The Bulls used an offensive system that allowed 3 other players to take the most shots. For Lonzo this meant playing a fast defense style alongside Alex Caruso and showing the energy in the legs of the young, young team.
Zo has played this role perfectly so far. With an average of 35.5 minutes per game, Ball produces a solid 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists on average. He does all of this while being and doing a 3-point percentage of the championship leaders.

Lonzo Ball got a hilarious Twitter reaction after being featured on Covid-19 logs
Unfortunately for the cops, Lonzo will be out for the foreseeable future. He is the newest member of a roster to be thoroughly overrun by Covid-19 – their 13th such player.
It wasn’t long ago that Lonzo gave an interview in which he stated that his indoor habits could be the reason why he has not contracted Covid-19 yet. That piece might actually have come back to follow, as Lonzo Ball wondered aloud on Twitter.
