PSG.LGD’s Dota 2 coach, xiao8, is found innocent of match-fixing allegations made by his ex-wife. Did PSG.LGD really throw TI10?
Xiao8 found themselves in a serious predicament after losing to Team Spirit in the TI10. There has been a surge in allegations of a match-fixing scandal on Chinese social media.
A few weeks ago, PSG.LGD announced an independent investigation into the matter. Now they have officially announced their verdict on Xiao8.
Following allegations of match-fixing in the TI10 grand finale by xiao8’s ex-wife and backlash from the community, PSG.LGD will launch a separate investigation from Valve. #GosuGamers #PassionON #Dota 2

So what really happened? The event is an example of manipulation and how fake news circulates like wildfire.
The lamb to be slaughtered for the contempt of the Chinese spectators.
But I didn’t get it. Sorry💔 https://t.co/F9Psnow744

PSG.LGD lost spectacularly against Team Spirit in the Grand Final. Nobody was really sure what happened?
From the design phase onwards, something was wrong. In all fairness, the title was lost on the spot before Game 5 even started.
Xiao8 was accused of match-fixing his own team. The allegation came after LGD’s shocking decision not to ban Magnus, which ultimately resulted in a loss.
Other factors also play a role. China hasn’t won a TI since 2016, considering its dominance in the early TI years.

MatchFixing allegations about Xiao8 are absolutely false, as confirmed by PSG.LGD.

PSG.LGD itself has appeared in Grand Finals three times. But apparently the third time isn’t the attraction.
As negative emotions spread through the Chinese community, Xiao8’s ex-wife took the opportunity to mislead people. In her words: “Xiao8 is the reason we lost TI10”.
But as it stands, Xiao8 has been found innocent of all charges, including match fixing. Plus, this event is a haunting reminder never to judge anyone you don’t know personally.
Social media has turned people into sheep who all bleat and gossip about what the last person said with no real clue. The herd mentality is also exceptionally overwhelming. Nobody is a shepherd in this abyss.

The gaming community needs to be more careful before they even blame anyone.
We’re pretty sure Zhang “Xiao8” Ning would not ask the Chinese community for a public apology. Without a doubt, he has dedicated his life to improving the Chinese gaming community.
In his own words:
“I think a coach is just a helper. The most important factor in a good game is player performance.
Just try to be nice to people. We who don’t have what it takes to make it to MainStage have no right to judge. Hence we have no right to judge.
I miss you so much😝 https://t.co/xMFJ4L9mq5
