Who won VALORANT Champions 2021?

VALORANT Champions, the largest international tournament to date for the Riot Games’ FPS, took place in Berlin from December 1st to December 12th.

The first VALORANT World championship with a total of 16 teams– four from Europe, three from North America, three from Brazil, three from SEA, one from Korea, one from Japan and one from South America – and was heavily dominated by European teams.

Team Liquid, Acend, Gambit and Fnatic—All teams from EMEA– reached the playoffs and all but the latter made it to the semi-finals. Cloud9 Blue was the only North American team to book a quarter-finals appearance, but Liquid was instantly accrued.

Surprisingly, KRÜ Esports, a Chilean team from South America, eliminated Sentinels in the group stage and Fnatic in the quarter-finals to secure a semi-final run. They were only stopped by Gambit.

Although Liquid was considered one of the strongest teams in the event, they couldn’t handle Acend in the semifinals. Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek and his crew completely dominated this match and only received 11 rounds for Liquid in the two maps they played.

Who won VALORANT Champion 2021?

Acend won VALORANT Champions 2021. They faced Gambit in the Best of Five Grand Final on Sunday December 12th. And although they lost the series’ first and third cards, they returned to win the championship.

CNed, Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi, Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets, Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt fought hard on Icebox, the fourth card in the series, to win at 14:12 and to reach the grand final a fifth Map.

With all the momentum on their side, Acend kept Gambit under control in Split, winning it 13-8 for the VALORANT Champions 2021 title and its $ 350,000 prize pool.
