PUBG: battlefields will officially be free to play in 2022, joining many of the other popular battle royale games, and attempting to target an entirely new market of gamers.
Getting rid of the premium game model, which has been retained since it launched as an Early Access game in 2017, is one way forward for PUBG to attract new players who may have avoided the title because an initial investment was required to get it.
The original PUBG will launch F2P on PC and consoles on January 12, 2022, along with new content and additional features that will help transform the way players experience the Battle Royale title.
When the game launches its F2P initiative, a new feature will be added called Battlegrounds Plus will also go live. This is an optional one-time purchase premium account upgrade that gives players access to new and exclusive game content and features for $ 12.99. Here’s what’s in this premium upgrade.
