Vitality confirms the inclusion of Dupreeh, Magisk and Zonic on the CS: GO list

Team vitality confirms the latest additions on their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster on Wednesday. The Danish trio of Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “magisk” Reif and trainer Danny “zonic” Sørensen will now join the CS: GO team of Vitality after his recent departure from Astralis.

The former Astralis players will complete a roster that already includes the French trio of Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier and in-game leader Dan “apEX” Madesclaire.

“I couldn’t be more excited that Dupreeh, Magisk and zonic are joining the team,” ZywOo said in a press release. “They achieved so much together and I know that I and the team can learn a lot from them. I am so ready to show everyone how far this team can go! “

In November Astralis put the Danish trio on the bench to make room for Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and trainer Alexander “ave” Holdt. They officially left Astralis in December. Meanwhile, Vitality split from trainers Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam and Richard “shox” Papillon in December. Also Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van confirmed on Wednesday that he would no longer be part of the active CS: GO roster from Vitality.

Dupreeh is one of the few players who has attended every CS: GO major. He has secured titles in four tournaments. Magisk can boast a victory in the prestigious Intel Grand Slam. In addition, zonic was named “Best Esports Coach” at The Game Awards in 2019 and 2020.

Vitality’s revised roster is part of a € 50 million investment by The investment is intended to turn the organization into a European eSports powerhouse.
