Sumail outraged the current Dota 2 DPC format today. Sumail tweeted within hours of ImmortalFaith’s allegations against Tundra.
2020 ushered in a new era of esports. But not in a good sense. Covid19 was the reason.
Hence, pandemic norms have resulted in shorter rounds and non-existent LAN tournaments. It also creates unique opportunities and problems for teams.

The Dota 2 community is unaware of cheating and scripting. The current format offers many possibilities for bogus measures.
But how is the Dota 2 community going to deal with it? How are Valve and Dota2Devs going to solve this new problem?
What is Sumail actually referring to?
Bring back more LANs. This system is suspicious!

Dota 2 has changed a lot since its early release in 2010. Jumps and limits were reached and new records were set.
But the core problems still remain. Scripting / hacking, cheating and match fixing are still plaguing professionals. Fraudsters are finding new ways to fool the existing system.
Let’s not get upset about this though. At the same time, however, we need to be aware of the mishaps.
Following allegations of match-fixing in the TI10 grand finale by xiao8’s ex-wife and backlash from the community, PSG.LGD will launch a separate investigation from Valve. #GosuGamers #PassionON #Dota 2

Recently, in 2021, The International, Team Spirit lifted the Aegis of champions. Match 5 seemed suspicious, however, considering how Valve handled the situation.
Magnus, who made Collapse the series MVP, was never banned in the final matchup. The question is a throw or throw order or pure coincidence?
As the pandemic rules turn out, a wise person can see through the loopholes quite well. VAC can’t recognize everything, let alone scripts.

To be honest, gamers are smart too. You hug the dark side when the realization comes. This is what recent news on social media suggests.
Immortal Faith ‘s claims on Twitter might be true. Regarding to be honest. The incident raises eyebrows.
We have to ask ourselves what happened to the gaming community? Where are we drifting as a networked society?
I’ve heard that to do this, people have to remove some configuration files from their dota2. We have encountered this several times recently. @Dota 2 @DreamHackDota Is that okay in DPC? Personally, I don’t see any difference to using a script. pic.twitter.com/Rdwa6KcU5K

There was a time when honor and respect came before profit. But money changes people well. As businesses continue to flourish, they leave a trail of lost opportunities.
Valve needs to fix this problem quickly. It’s like a leak in a dam. If not resolved, there will be outrage. Sumail is just the beginning.
Ignorance can no longer be used as an excuse. At least not in 2022.
