The FaZe-Clan plans to sign ropz instead of olofmeister

Robin “ropz” Kool, the MOUZ. leaving, is in advanced talks with the FaZe clan to join their squad and reunite with former teammate Finn “karrigan” Andersen Reports by Dexerto and The star shooter is slated to join the team when his contract expires at MOUZ 2022.

While he is preparing to leave MOUZ, ropz is ending an almost five-year term with the former organization mousesports. The 21-year-old Estonian star joined the team in April 2017. Since then, the team has won a handful of major tournaments, including ESL One: New York 2018, CS: GO Asian Championships 2019 and ESL Pro League Season 10. The team has been struggling to find its shape lately.

In his professional career, ropz has collected around 540,000 US dollars in prize money. He made it into the HLTV Top 20 rankings three times: No. 19 in 2018, No. 10 in 2019 and No. 7 in 2020.

When joining the FaZe clan, ropz is expected to replace the Swedish Counter-Strike legend Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson, who has been in and out of the FaZe roster for the past three years. Ropz would also reunite with in-game leader Karrigan, with whom he played at mousesports for two years.

According to reports from and Dexerto, MOUZ plans to promote players from MOUZ NXT, their academy team, instead of ropz. MOUZ NXT has had constant success in the tier 2 scene and reached number 26 in the HLTV world rankings. They won the WePlay Academy League Season 1 and Season 2. Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and Dorian “xertioN” Berman are considered to be the pioneers for promotion to the main line-up.

If the addition of ropz is done, the FaZe clan’s list is expected to look like this in 2022:
