Team Vikings’ Sacy says Brazilian fans are “sometimes a little too much”

Team Viking’s Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi showed love for the Brazilian VALORANT fan base and their support for champions, but admits they can be a little too passionate in a post-game press conference.

Brazilian teams have impressed fans by removing cards from some of the top teams including Sentinels and Gambit Esports. After a narrow 1: 2 defeat against the winner of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin, Gambit Esports, Sacy from Team Viking spoke about the passionate Brazilian fan base.

“The Brazilian fan base is really passionate, sometimes a little too much to be honest,” Sacy said with a laugh. “But yes, they make us feel good, I think. There is pressure, we have to make Brazil proud because Brazil is not the best scene in VALORANT at the moment. “

The Brazilian fan base has shown what they’re capable of after Vivo Keyd was punished by Riot Games for using an illegal cypher camera in their match against Acend. Riot Games decided in favor of Acend, forcing Vivo Keyd to abandon the card and series. Dissatisfied with the outcome of the Riot Games decision, the Brazilian fan base took responsibility and supported the globally popular hashtag #justiceforkeyd. Riot Games is still advising on the Judgment against Vivo Keyd.

Team Vikings’ Sacy believes Brazil showed up at Champions

Team Vikings isn’t the only Brazilian team to have had a sense of achievement during the Champions League. FURIA Esports removed a card from former VCT Masters Reykjavík champions Sentinels while Vivo Keyd originally defeated Acend 2-1 before the riot ruling. Team Vikings themselves are the only Brazilian team with a legal win after beating Crazy Racoon in Group C in the opening game.

“Vivo Keyd won against Acend, I mean no more, but they won,” said Sacy. “And FURIA got a nice matchup against Sentinels. Then we almost won against Gambit, so let’s show the world that we can face them. I think Brazil just needs a little more time. “

After this Loss to Gambit, Team Vikings will face either Team Secret or Crazy Raccoon for the chance to get out of Group C and make it to the quarter-finals of the VALORANT Champions.
