T1 signs QO as Dota 2 Analyst

T1 was also an outstanding team in 2022 dota Pro Circuit is currently ranked second in the Southeast Asia Regional League. Wanting to sit on its success, the organization hires SEA legend Kim “QO” Sun Yeob as an analyst to improve its list.

QO has been part of multiple deep runs on various iterations of The International with MVP Phoenix alongside T1’s current trainer Park “March” Tae-won.

The South Korean-Australian professional took a longer break from competition dota in 2018 after Immortals dropped its roster. He most recently played for Team Oracle, a team he helped build in May 2019 before moving into a coaching role for the team.

Oracle has been mostly inactive since May 2020 as many of its players leave the company to play for other teams such as Nigma Galaxy SEA and 5ManMidas. This signing gives March additional support in developing strategies for his players while also bringing together one of the original South Koreans dota duos again.

Now that Valve has canceled the 2022 DPC Winter Tour Major, T1 is struggling a lot as it attempts to surpass BOOM Esports for the top spot in the SEA region. If they can wrap up the regional league by beating BOOM and Fnatic, Kuku and his crew will secure first place and earn $30,000 and 300 DPC points en route to the Spring Tour.
