T1 have announced the release of Tyler “Ska” Latham and Timothy “automatically”Ta from their VALORANT list. Ska has been with the team since the beginning of 2020 and will now be leaving the team as it rebuilds after it did not have enough track points to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour Last Chance Qualifier in October 2021.
All great things must come to an end.
Thank you, @Ska, for your time here at T1.We are excited to see what the future has in store for you.# T1VALORANT pic.twitter.com/oroIfe6MBi

Autimatic and Ska are made by T1 VALORANT. released
The departure of Ska and autimatic is no surprise as it was previously reported that Braxton “brax” Pierce, Ska and Anthony “dawn” Hagopian are leaving the team. The changes are coming through as T1 aims to make major changes to their VALORANT roster. Most notably, the addition of Joshua “steel” Nissan from 100 Thieves would establish a new in-game leader for the T1 team, and the rebuild will likely revolve around steel.
On the flip side, autimatic has been linked to a return to Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Rumor has it that the previous major winner will reunite with his old teammate – former Team Liquid Spitfire, Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip. The two played together back in 2018 when they were on Cloud9 and won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston. As the only North American team to win a major, Evil Geniuses seem interested in bringing the duo back. Youngest Reports also point out that T1 signs the young talent Josh “pwny” VanGorder, who is a duelist but could switch to another role within the team.
We would like to thank you @autimaticTV for his time here at T1.
We look forward to your contributions to # T1VALORANT Squad.
Cheers to your future endeavors! pic.twitter.com/w4e1iJ3UaH

Despite their status as one of the first teams to participate in competitive VALORANT in the early days of the game, T1 failed to achieve success at VALORANT as a competitive esport. They made it into the VCT Stage 3 Challengers tournaments. However, you never collected enough points to take part in the VALORANT Champions, the biggest VALORANT event of the year, or the North American LCQ.
