Steam issues full refunds for Battlefield 2042, breaking policy

The ongoing problems of Battlefield 2042 and the dwindling number of players have resulted in Steam issuing full refunds in violation of its own refund policy.

Battlefield 2042 has had a tough time since its release. Some gamers have felt offended by the lack of features and content in this latest installment, with many having given up on the game in just under two months since its release. In addition to the lack of features and poorly received gameplay changes, players had to grapple with a wave of bugs and glitches.
