This past week’s top Steam bestsellers included quite a few new releases, including the Stellaris: Overlord DLC, the strategy game Songs of Conquest, and the puzzle game We Were Here Forever.

Like every Monday a list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the past week on Steam has been released. The number spot was once again taken by Steam Deck, but the other positions in the top 10 changed a lot.

Excellent debut of Stellaris: Overlord

In second place, we see the debut of the Stellaris: Overlord DLC. This is all the more impressive because this DLC costs less than $20.

The reception of the DLC is rather cold due to numerous technical problems, but as you can see, it did not stop the expansion from becoming a bestseller. The release of the DLC also caused the game’s activity scores to be more than double. Yesterday, at the hottest time of the day Stellaris was being played on Steam by more than 48 thousand concurrent users.

Good launch of We Were Here Forever

Stellaris: Overlord was not the only big debut of last week. The puzzle adventure game We Were Here Forever also did very well, taking the fifth place. The game met with a very warm reception – 85% of Steam user reviews praised this title.

Another proof of the project’s success is the fact that its activity record reached 8323 users. This is eight times more than the result . by We Were Here, which was the most popular part of the series so far.

Songs of Conquest also did well

Another success was the early access release of the strategy game Songs of Conquest, which took sixth place on the list.

The game is doing well on Steam – 88% of user reviews praised the title, which is categorized as a “very positive” reception.
