SOAZ: “Dota is more fun because League is much more team-oriented”

French League of Legends Veteran Paul “sOAZ” Boyer said he thinks Dota 2 more fun than league in an interview with Richard “Rich” Wells, former CEO of H2k and current director of the media agency The Black Lodge.

On the Desert Island Games Youtube series, Wells speaks to the veteran top laner on a range of topics ranging from his early games in France to the specifics of the original Fnatic team compared to its newer versions.

But the most noticeable moment came when they asked about sOAZ Dota 2, in which, in his opinion, there is more creativity than in League.

“At that time I would say, out of the game, I think at the top, Dota probably more fun because league is much more team-oriented, ”said SOAZ. “Not that Dota It’s not, it sure is super high in team play, but I think there’s a lot more room for error in Dota. “

“You can be more creative in Dotaand that’s probably the most fun in Dota compared to League. ”SoAZ went on to explain.

Although sOAZ is no longer in the LEC, he still competes as a professional league Player. He is under contract with the Austrian esports organization WAVE Esports.

During his time in the LEC, sOAZ was known for its creative teleport escape options – especially for its great get-to-know escape at the 2015 LoL Worlds semifinals against SK Telecom T1, now only known as T1.

In its nine years as a top laner, sOAZ has collected a number of awards, including five LEC split championships, two semi-finals and two World Cup finals.

He then played briefly for Immortals in the LCS throughout the 2020 season, where he had very little success. Nowadays, sOAZ is more cautious as a professional league Player in the European regional leagues.
