Q. Who have you always wanted to team up with?

A. There is only one. Quiet.

Q. What are your thoughts on your retirement from Tier 1 CS now? Do you think you should have left sooner or later or done something else?

A. First and for most. I never retired 😉 I’m just taking a long sweet innocent break! 😀

But I believe every player in every esports game thinks about retirement a few times in their career. I was on the verge of actually quitting playing for a while (or entirely depending on the situation) in 2016 as I was in the hospital for a while with my stomach condition and I was given instructions as to why not traveling to a few tournaments was bad Situation.

But… to end the question – not really. I still miss the competition and all those things. But I have to think about my health (mentally and physically) and I’m at a much better stage than before in my career.

GeT RiGhT is currently a streamer by profession.

Q. What was the proudest moment of your career?

A. Winning all those cute tournaments I’ve done with f0rest and all the other players I’ve played with. To see rez going crazy in Oakland and driving the shit out of us against Faze, SK etc. Winning the Dreamhack Masters Malmö with pyth was a big highlight as it was in Sweden and such.

It was always a pleasure to win VeryGames. But in general all. Even in tough times you learn so much about yourself and the group you’re with that it can’t really replace it… Surely I wish I’d won more Majors than those goddamn runners-up!

Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund won a Major with NiP.

Q. What do you think of the state Swedish CS is in at the moment with only one Tier 1 team (one and a half if you count UKnatic) and who are some of the promising young Swedish prospects making a breakthrough in the near future?

A. It was all good until fl0m started saddening me in NA faceit.. 😉 just kidding, so far it’s been good!

It’s been in a weird place for a while but I think when I look at what SEC (Elitserien) has done and what teams/pugs have done in international qualifiers. I might see another team (full swedish team) take over the leaderboard and do some damage in the scene. But if you ask me, everything has to come with the right mindset and attitude.

There are many people who dream and actually don’t. It’s not going to be a “walk in the park” – it’s going to be hard work and sacrifices to make.

CSGO vs Valorant? Even GeT RiGhT has already decided on a side.

Q. What are your thoughts on Valorant? Do you think it can replace CS and do you think the competition is good for CSGO as a whole?
A. Valorant and CS:GO – The endless debate war between the camps. I personally think Valorant is actually a pretty cool game, it brings something new from the FPS genre. Is it CS? No, I don’t see it as a CS game.

It’s a good rivalry between games, but I’m actually not too worried. Something sparkles in the CS fans and what history has already shown. The Major showed what a game CS really is, with the huge support of fans around the world. It’s something special.

He last played for Dignitas Gaming in 2020.

Q. If it doesn’t offend you, can we talk about the 87-0 era? How did it feel in the middle…after 40 games. Did you feel invincible? How did it feel when it ended with the VP game. Ever felt like you were on the brink of another winning streak?

A. To be honest I was nonchalant. I didn’t really think much about it at the time or knew until it was too late (haha)… But all I know is that it ended almost many times earlier than it actually did!

I just remember we didn’t tip over or anything when the first game loss happened, f0rest got up and started clapping his hands and we looked ahead. It was kind of magical. (Haha)

Q. Who was the best trainer and IGL you have ever worked with? And what was the reason why they were the best at their job?

A. It’s quite difficult to be honest as most of my IGLs are similar except maybe the threat of everyone I’ve had under my wing. But if I need to select some kind of list.
