James Young, the Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, revealed the plan for PUBG Mobile Esports 2022. The game has entered its sixth year of PUBG Mobile Esports which started back in 2018.

James Young said: “We have continued to build Pubg Mobile’s global esports ecosystem in 2021. We’ve explored seven new pro leagues to cover all regions worldwide and also started PMGC 2021. The construction of the entire ecosystem is complete, so I can say that Optimal Esports 1.0 is now complete. It is time to move on to the next phase.”

The second phase of PUBG Mobile Esports has been dubbed “PUBG Mobile Esports 2.0” where the main focus will be to improve the local regional level for amateurs and semi-professionals to give them a solid foundation.

The big changes from last year’s format from pmco to pmpl twice a year to pmnc and regional cups to pmpl once a year and various tournaments including pmco pmcc and even large solid third party events will have a qualifying spot for the corresponding pmnc in 11 Country and regional cups in eight regions.

PUBG Mobile Esports 2022 Schedule

With PUBG Mobile Esports being selected as the official sport of both the South East Asia Gate and the Asian Games, the pro players will represent their own country. Although the prize pool for 2022 has not yet been announced by officials, it will be larger than 2021.
