PC gamers are celebrating (or rather complaining) after the launch of the updated Final Fantasy VII on the Epic Games Store. In the meantime, Square Enix is coming soon release an update on the remake of the seventh part of Final Fantasy on PlayStation 5 for buyers of the digital PS Plus edition of the game.

FF7: The remake could be obtained “free of charge” in March – as long as you had an active PlayStation Plus subscription. This was the basic version of the game, with no subsequent improvements. These were released in June, but only for people who actually bought the game.
The update will be released this Wednesday and brings all the improvements out of the Intergrade. This includes faster loading times and nicer textures, as well as the ability to play at higher resolutions: 2160p (at 30 fps) or 1512p (60 fps).
As a side note: Square Enix will also price the Break DLC in which the main character is thief Yuffie, from $ 19.99 to about $ 15.
