Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2 will be revived tomorrow on the test servers

Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2 Resurrected is coming to the public test servers tomorrow. This allows PC players to try out the changes in gameplay balance.

Over a month ago, it was announced that Diablo 2 Resurrected will receive patch 2.4, which will introduce ranked play and runewords, among other things. now it was announced that the patch will arrive on the PC Public Test Servers (PST) on January 25th. However, it is still unknown when the update for the game itself will arrive.

It is worth remembering here that one of the biggest innovations that will appear in Diablo 2 revived After the 2.4 update, the leaderboards are divided into four ladders:

  1. Standard (until Act IV);
  2. Hardcore (up to Act IV);
  3. standard add-on;
  4. Hardcore add-on.

However, at the moment there is not much information about how exactly it will look like in the game, So we’ll have to wait for more details.

PST will allow us to try out the changes in gameplay balance. Each of the character’s classes have received modifications to skill trees. Some abilities receive buffs that encourage players to use them. Improvements also relate to the synergy between individual perks. Detailed descriptions of the changes can be found here here.

In addition, new runewords will be available for testing on PST. The Horadric Cube, on the other hand, will be enriched with blueprints to complement the items in the kits. Those playing on Infernal difficulty will have to deal with the increased strength of monsters in certain areas.
