OG will start the new season led by a fresh face who was phenomenal at the PGL CSGO Major Stockholm.
OG Esports have signed Nemanja “nexa” Isaković from G2 Esports to their active CSGO division, the European mix revealed on their Twitter handle, and their now-former in-game leader Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen with them traded to the Serbian tactician.
As previously reported by TalkEsport and 1pv.fr, G2 Esports traded Nexa for Aleksib from OG Esports, one of the founding members of OG Esports since the team’s inception in December 2019, while ex-G2 Esports IGL joined the German organization around the same time was time in September of that year. Both OG and G2 Esports were poised to make changes to their rosters after a trophy-less past season, with the latter being denied the championship at the PGL CS:GO Major Stockholm, while OG finished second, most notably in FLASHPOINT Season 2 and secured the first place in the Spring Sweet Spring #2 till cup.

nexa joined G2 Esports from Team CR4ZY, with whom he made it to the New Legends Stage at the StarLadder Berlin Major in 2019, which eventually led to G2 Esports capturing the 24-year-old Serb alongside Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač from the in Croatia local organization under contract.
OG will debut nexa at the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Groups where they will face Astralis in their opening match on January 29th. The arrival of nexa is also accompanied by the addition of Alexander “kakafu” Szymanczyk, previously part of BIG and will be the assistant coach to Casper “Ruggah” Due in the lineup.
