
According to a report by Certain Affinity developer studio may support an innovative new game mode for Halo Infinite Windows headquarters.
As detailed in the report, the mode appears to be codenamed “Tanaka” and is seen as something that should appeal to a wider audience of players.

“It appears that this new mode, codenamed ‘Tatanka’, could be several months away at this point.” Reports from Windows Central, “and is intended to be a more ‘newbie-friendly’ experience that isn’t as competitively demanding as the existing multiplayer modes Big Team Battle and Arena Gamer on Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone or Apex Legends.”
According to Windows Central, the mode will also “carry into Halo Infinite’s upcoming Forge mode”, feature “player-created content” in addition to cosmetics from Halo Infinite’s existing multiplayer mode, and potentially have a “new proprietary progression system.”
