New CSGO updates bring dreams and nightmares Fall » TalkEsport

Valve released a new update for CSGO this morning and announced the release of the Dreams and Nightmares case. The Dreams and Nightmares case consists of skins created by users from all over the world who entered a competition and were then selected by Valve. There are a total of 17 new skins in the case, 2 of covert rarity, 3 classified, 5 restricted and 7 military spec rarity.

The contest was announced back in July 2021 with a $1 million prize pool and was originally intended to have 10 skins. Each winning creator would receive $100,000 if their skins were selected and placed in the case.

The winners of the Dreams and Nightmares contest were announced in November 2021, and Valve announced that a total of 17 skins were chosen from over 15,000 entries. That increased the Dreams and Nightmares Case prize pool to $1.7 million, with each winner receiving $100,000 for their skin regardless of rarity. This was done to increase community engagement and attract new users and developers to the game.
