Myth of quitting TSM after choosing not to sign again

Twitch streamer and content creator Ali “Myth” Kabbani is separating from TSM after three years, according to a video announcement shared today by Myth and TSM. In the announcement, Myth announced that he had decided not to sign with TSM again and declined to renew his contract for the future.

In the video, Myth said that the “family feeling” that initially attracted him to TSM was missing, due to the departure of both former TSM President Leena Xu and the former League of Legends Midlaner Bjergsen. Additionally, Myth felt that it was not being “used really efficiently,” pointing out that he has not had much to do with TSM content lately.

Regarding his next target, Myth said he wanted to be a bigger part of its content, “get into more uncomfortable situations” and find himself as a person. Potential applicants (based on responses to the announcement) include 100 Thieves, NRG (where former TSM Fourteen days Makers Daequan and Hamlinz are stationed) and, among other things, OfflineTV.

Myth joined TSM in 2018 and initially focused exclusively on Fourteen days Competition and content creation. Over the years, Myth moved further and further away from Fourteen daysafter spending most of its time on the air in 2020 and 2021 VALORANT. He co-streamed a handful of VCT events in 2021 and generated a massive stream of viewers, especially during the TSM games.

Myth’s content creator services should be in high demand given its social stats: 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube, 2.5 million followers on Twitter, and according to the 10th most popular Twitch channel with 7.4 million followers TwitchTracker.
