Monster Hunter Rise reviews praise the PC port quality

The first reviews of the PC version of Monster Hunter: Rise have appeared online. They show that Capcom delivered an excellent port.

The PC edition of Monster Hunter: Rise will be released tomorrow. However, Many reviews of this issue have already appeared online, showing that Capcom has prepared an excellent PC port.

At the time of writing, the PC port was from Monster Hunter: Ascent has an average rating of 88% on Metacritic. This is exactly the same score as that Original game, released on Nintendo Switch last March.

The PC edition is the same great action RPG as the original on Switch (more on that in the article on the console edition reviews), so the most interesting opinions are on the technical level. In this regard, the PC edition is said to be excellent.

Reviewers praise the improved graphics and the fact that the higher resolution allows us to see details that were difficult to see on the Switch. The PC release should also offer good engine optimization and run well on weaker hardware.

The only downside mentioned in most of the reviews is the inability to import the saved game saves from the Nintendo Switch edition to the PC. Therefore, veterans who have previously played on consoles will have to start their monster hunter career all over again after switching to PCs.

The PC edition of Monster Hunter: Ascent will debut tomorrow, January 12th. A demo is available on Steam for some time, which allows us to double-check the title before it is released.
