Minecraft receives various patches and new content every year, although the scale of these is not always enough for players. Perhaps recent complaints are the reason why Mojang has prepared a survey designed to help the developers improve Minecraft according to fans’ expectations.
Minecraft players criticize the devs
At least that is the intention of the developers, but the community focused on the game’s subforum on Reddit does not trust the developer. Players are still bitter after the reaction – or rather, lack thereof – to the criticism of the new moderation system.
A month ago a heated up discussion took place about elements that should disappear from Minecraft and it was this novelty that turned out to be the most hated by the players. Meanwhile, Mojang has not truly addressed the issue – it has only confirmed that the change is not up for discussion. The new survey is no different, as not a word mentions the moderation system, which did not escape the attention of Internet users.
A survey without meaning?
For this reason, Reddit users have doubts about the actual meaning of the survey, which, some write, is more of a demographic survey than an attempt to solicit player opinions to fix the game.
Nevertheless, some players not only filled out the survey, but also left posts on Reddit with their comments (and criticism, as even the more composed and conciliatory players are quite angry with Mojang). the form will remain available until September 22, with only those over the age of 18 able to fill it out.
In the survey, Mojang points out a handful of important issues, including differences in gameplay across platforms, the presence and removal of bugs, and the game’s stable performance.
