The Melbourne Matildas defeated the Perth Panthers in the World of Tanks ANZ Premiere League Season 3 Championship on November 13th. After taking the first two cards, the Matildas looked like they were going to sweep the Panthers clean. But the Panthers fought their way back and a mistake by Matilda’s player Bailes resulted in the Panthers winning the final 3-2. It almost looked like the Panthers could lead to 3-3, but the Matildas recovered. They used their training and forced the panthers to make mistakes. They took the final card, flanked the Panthers, turned off their tanks and took the 4-2 victory in the final.
Learn from past seasons
Although the Melbourne Matildas the season 1 Favorites, they finished last. However, in season 2, it looked promising that they would pick up the season titles. What’s next in the World of Tanks ANZ Premiere League?
In Season 4, the Melbourne Matildas will be looking for a straight win while the Panthers will continue to try to prove themselves. World of Tanks ANZ product manager Jake Truman said that season 3 was very exciting and that while there is no official word yet, he is interested in season 4.
