The final iteration of the VCT 2021 is here, with the Ultimate Champions Event slated to begin on December 1st. A total of 16 teams will compete for the Champions title, along with a lion’s share of $ 350,000 from the $ 1,000,000 prize pool.

The top two teams in each group would advance to the playoffs as they face double elimination. After the group phase, the knockout phase is set by a random drawing. The four first-placed teams from their group meet a randomly selected second-placed team from another group. The teams then play through an eight-team elimination round, with teams in first place playing against teams in second place in the first round. With the exception of the Grand Finals, all matches would follow a best-of-3 format, while the former would be a best-of-5 series.
