Magisk and Dupreeh have finally joined Team Vitality CSGO, replacing Shox. But who else is ticked off?
Astralis and Vitality had a pretty tough season. Team Astralis even more if you consider its old skills.
Astralis was considered one of the old guards until they weren’t. On the other hand, Team Vitality had high hopes until NaVi dashed their hopes.

NaVi had a dominant influence on CSGO in 2021. As a result, teams seem to be looking for a solution to compete against them on level ground.
S1mple alone is an esports monster. He’s put up some insane stats in the preseason and at BLAST Premier.
NaVi won the most important major in 10 years CSGO. A lot has changed.

All of his awards made him the best esports professional of 2021. Patience will run out after 2020. Since Covid19 hit us hard, LAN parties have been in short supply.
NaVi won all but one LAN. Vitality only won one LAN, i.e. Intel Extreme Masters, the only LAN that NaVi did not participate in.
Zywoo and Co. could not get past NaVi several times in 2021. The most important matchup was in PGL Stockholm Major.
Team Vitality lost against S1mple and Co. 2: 1. This loss forced the team management to finally do something to win a major.
Astralis, on the other hand, is one of the few teams that has won multiple times Main subjects. 4 of them to be precise.

After leaving Astralis, Magisk and Dupreeh have now joined the Vitality CSGO roster.

Still, they haven’t won a single title since 2019, neither major nor minor. Therefore the old guards no longer exist. Their most important winners list is also no longer intact.
Both teams decided not to continue the current squad. Maybe there was potential, but there is no longer any patience.
Hopefully this will be all good for everyone involved. Magisk and Dupreeh joining the Vitality CSGO roster could be fruitful for both parties.
