The British esports organization LDN UTD has become the newest team to review its strategy for the new British / Irish / Nordic League of Legends NLC Division 2.
The players in their roster are now LFT (looking for teams), which means that LDN UTD’s position in the NLC is a bit in the air.
In an update video on Twitter, Oliver Weingarten, CEO of LDN UTD said the organization’s “commitment to League of Legends is unwavering,” but rule changes mean they have no chance of promotion until Spring 2023 and now their strategy.
“We thought the best option was to be honest with the players and give them a chance to see if there is another option for them to play competitively this year,” he said. “We have to see what makes sense for the business.”
Olly also said that LDN UTD will come back with more news as the situation evolves.
