Ibai’s announcement came during the event, which was held in front of a stadium crowd at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain. Ibai’s team will introduce another eSport in VALORANT. KOI are currently in trial training with various players and no players have yet been determined. However, the baton has already been set, with Antonio “Aska” Lozano and Sikako as coaches of the team.
Aska takes on the role of head coach. The Spaniard previously coached the UCAM Esports Club in 2021. Sikako, in turn, was also part of the Murcia team, so the Ibai Llanos team apparently hired the UCAM staff as a pack.
The teams Presentation event, including the announcement of Koi VALORANT and the show match between the Karmine Corp. cadres. and Ibai League of Legends, is still ongoing. These teams will meet again in Paris on January 8th to round out the show-match agreement.
