HumbleGod Ana returns to the fray in T1 Dota 2.

Ana, the legendary carry player, has returned to professional Dota 2 once again. This time the humble god plays Dota 2 as T1 Ana.

Ana is a mystical character in Dota 2. He has a unique playstyle and a completely different perspective on how to play the game.

But as unorthodox as he is, he has won The International twice in a row. His exploits alongside the original OG Dota 2 roster are not unknown.

Ana’s status in Dota 2 goes beyond legends. For years he has accomplished feats that were considered impossible.

SEA Dota 2 struggled more than most regions. The Aegis of Champions never reached the Southeast Asia region.

HumbleGod started playing Dota 2 regularly in December.

Whether it’s a skills gap or an adversity, there’s never been a complete success story for a SEA organization. There were only a few brief bursts of greatness that were fairly easily snuffed out.

Anathan “Ana” Pham is from Australia. The past few weeks have been non-stop ranked games for him. Ana averages between 14 and 16 games per day.

He is currently sitting over 9,000 MMR while playing with and against the biggest names from Asia on the SEA server. Chinese players also visit the SEA servers.

T1 is pushing to become SEA’s first team to win a TI. Therefore, Ana is a main part of this idea. The two-time Tea Eye winner has yet to fully retire from the game.

Ana announced his retirement from Dota 2 early last year. In December we noticed that he was playing games from his alternate account.

T1 Ana is the only Dota 2 carry player to have won multiple Aegis of Champions – TI8 and TI9.

There have been a number of rumors on the World Wide Web regarding Ana’s return. This news is sure to put her at ease.

Hopefully Ana can maintain his legendary status. Also if Ana and T1 win the Aegis of Champions it will be a hat trick for Ana God.

However, it will take Ana some time to get used to the team dynamics. But it is certain that the GOAT of Dota 2 will want to win another TI.

Make no mistake – Ana transcends legend status. As a result, his return will cause problems for many teams around the world.
