The group stage of the 2022 LCS Lock In Tournament has concluded and the eight teams advancing to the knockout stages have been sorted into a single elimination round for the final stages of the tournament. Over the next two weeks, the remaining teams from the Lock In tournament will compete for victory in the first event of the North American tournament League of Legends Season.
Here are the matchups for the 2022 LCS Lock In knockout stage, set to begin tomorrow.
Saturday January 22nd
- 100 thieves against Dignitas
- Team Liquid versus FlyQuest
Sunday 23 January
- Evil Geniuses vs. Golden Guardians
- Cloud9 vs. CLG
Teams from Group A and Group B will face off in the LCS Lock In tournament for the first time after the league was split down the middle to open the event. Because they finished last in their respective groups, TSM and Immortals did not advance to the Quarterfinals of the Lock In.
In the Quarterfinals, teams play best-of-three series against each other to determine who advances to the second weekend of the knockout rounds. Best-of-five series are played in the semi-finals and finals of the bracket.
The final of the LCS Lock In tournament will take place on January 30th. The 2022 LCS regular season begins on February 5th.
