Guild Esports and Team Vitality dot EMEA VCT Closed Qualifiers

After three days of open qualifying competition, 12 teams in Turkey, Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States competed for a place in their respective closed qualifiers.

In Turkey, SuperMassive Blaze, Fenerbahçe Esports, Galakticos and 2L8 qualified via the single-elimination qualifier. They join Futbolist, BBL Esports, Fire Flux Esports and Zero Zone as already invited teams in the Double Elimination Bracket.

FunPlus Phoenix, SMARACIS eSports, Aim.Attack and B8 Esports made it for the CIS. They join One Breath Gaming, 5MOKES, KPI Gaming and Natus Vincere in the narrow qualification.

In Europe, Guild Esports, Berlin International Gaming, Rebels Gaming and Team Vitality finally qualified for the narrow qualification. You will join G2 Esports, Team BDS, Alliance and TENSTAR in the next section of the qualification.

These qualifiers then flow directly into the VALORANT Champions Tour league in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. One team from Turkey, the CIS and two from Europe will join the four already qualified teams from their respective closed double elimination qualifiers in the EMEA VCT Challengers 1 league.

All three regions will host another open qualifier from January 17th to qualify one more squad from Turkey and the CIS and two more from Europe. The second to fifth placed teams from the tight qualifying games of this week will be placed directly into the next few weeks.

How to watch the EMEA VCT Closed Qualifiers

The three closed qualifying games will take place one after the other on three days from Thursday. Based on the open qualifying round start times, the CIS should begin at 10 a.m. ET, with Turkey starting at 1 p.m. ET and Europe rounding off the day at 3 p.m. ET.

All three double-elimination brackets will feature best-of-three series, which are expected for the grand finale, which is a best-of-five. Europe will broadcast its tournament in the Main VALORANT channel while Turkey and CIS will stream their regional counterparts. All three qualifying games will culminate in big finals on Sunday.
