Like every Monday perform the biggest (by sales) bestseller of the previous week released on Steam. The PC port of God of War was the top performer for the third time in a row. Monster Hunter: Rise followed immediately behind. There were only changes on the last podium place, which was occupied by the pre-orders of one of the editions dying light 2. Another edition of this game appeared in fifth place.
God of War would the most successful PlayStation Studios game on PC. It’s Sony’s first port to top the sales chart on Steam for three consecutive weeks. The game also achieved the highest activity scores (73,529 concurrent players), break the previous record of Horizon: Zero Dawn – Complete Edition (56,557 Player). In the case of the latter, the project’s return on investment was 250% seven months after its debut on PC. God of War should get even better results.
