Epic Games has officially released the Fortnite Update 19.20 Patch Notes. Let’s get into that.

Get ready to share the big news with your players, creators. Fortnite will enhance the XP Beyond Battle Royale experience! As you know, Creative Experiences are “calibrated” before they begin granting Battle Pass XP from your in-game awards. Now with v19.20, if a player triggered an award before the calibration was complete, they will be rewarded with XP once the experience is calibrated!

Additionally, creators will be notified via email of the calibration status of their experience.

Players who have already participated in Creative Experiences in the last 30 days while undergoing a calibration can retroactively earn XP if those experiences pass the calibration.

Players can claim their XP reward when they log into Fortnite.

Fire is a force to be reckoned with, and creators now have the ability to activate fire effects in their experiences! Epic is also bringing some new firearms from BR to Creative for the first time. Developers will add additional fire control capabilities in future updates.

New fire items:

  • Primal Flame Bow
  • flare gun
  • Firefly
  • petrol can

Race around the track to complete the time trial, but don’t forget to refuel! Creators who really want to spice up vehicles in their maps can now add gas cans and have them fuel the vehicles on their islands. Epic also added a configurable fuel pump so your players can fuel up and get going.

You may have felt the effects of skydive volume if you’ve participated in some of our past music experiences, but now this device is available for all to send gamers sky-high! Create air elevators, wind tunnels and more while experimenting with all the cool features of this new device.

A small change, but a big one – you can now enter channel numbers directly when setting up transceivers on all devices. Console gamers can also benefit from virtual keyboard support, which is available on all devices. Epic Games plans to introduce direct number entry for other device options in future updates.

The Sentry is the latest device to change from a trap device to a prop. Enjoy!
