A Firelight Ekko skin comes to League of Legends, giving players an arcane look and feel for the boy who rocked time.
Ekko was recently featured on the Arcane animation series, which went live on Netflix in November and received rave reviews from critics and fans.
Firelight Ekko will soon reach the PBE (Public Beta Environment) in League of Legends.
The announcement was made today on the League of Legends official Twitter account for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia:
This video also shows Ekko’s mask and hoverboard from Arcane during his callback animation, as seen above.
This new Firelight skin means that Ekko will now have eight skins in League of Legends in addition to his base skin. The latest skin, Pulsefire Ekko, was released in May 2020.
Riot also announced a couple of other new skins coming soon at PBE: Elderwood Gnar and Elderwood Rek’Sai:
Finally, an updated splash art has been confirmed for the old Goth Annie skin:
There are more Arcane-themed skins for Vi, Jayce, Caitlyn, and Jinx in League of Legends.
And earlier this month, Riot Games announced that it would create a skin for the arcane villain Silco for the League of Legends auto-battle game Teamfight Tactics (TFT), although there is no news as to whether he will become League of Legends itself might or might not be added.
Riot hinted that other underdogs might join the game in the future – “maybe some from outside Runeterra” – suggesting that characters from Riot’s FPS Valorant TFT might join.
The other newest line of skins in League of Legends – new Debonair skins – was announced in November.
