The British eSports organization Excel Esports has announced its full League of Legends esports player lists, which will compete in the LEC or NLC in spring 2022.
Excel’s LEC 2022 spring list:
Excel has kept most of its existing roster intact from the 2021 summer season, bringing in Swedish top laner Finn from CLG. He replaces Kryze, who has been looking for opportunities with other teams and has not yet announced his next move.
Finn is returning to Europe from his one year stint in the North American LCS. Previously, he dominated the LEC with Rogue throughout 2020, which came close to a title after the team won the regular season of the Summer Split.
The full list of Excel 2022 LEC players looks like this (pictured left to right):
- Find ‘Find’ Wiestål – Top Lane
- Mark ‘Markoon’ van Woensel – Jungle
- Erlend ‘NukeDuck’ Holm – Mid Lane
- Patrik ‘Patrik’ Jírů – ADC
- Henk ‘Advienne’ Reijenga – Support
- Joey ‘YoungBuck’ Steltenpool – head coach
Tim Reichert, who joined Excel last month as the new esports director, said: “During the trial session, Finn demonstrated his ability to integrate really well into our roster. He’s a player who communicates his needs and wants very strongly and that’s what we’ve been looking for in a top laner.
“We were very keen to keep most of the squad intact because I saw that the players worked very well together, especially after their promising short stay at the LEC Summer Split. The general consensus after the tryouts was that the players enjoyed working together and that as a team they are far from reaching their limits. “

Excel has also signed Patrik for a two-year contract extension, and head coach YoungBuck has officially signed a three-year contract extension with Excel as he continues his mission of adding another star to his belt.
YoungBuck commented, “It was an important learning experience during my time at Excel and we have had many ups and downs. I know we still have a lot to do, but I’m committed to getting this team into the playoffs and showing everyone the potential they have. “
Earlier this summer, Excel promoted two Academy players – Markoon and Advienne – to their first LEC team.
Excel’s NLC Spring 2022 list:
