Evil Geniuses sign automatically » TalkEsport

The Boston Major winner joins the ranks of the Evil Geniuses and reunites with his former Cloud9 teammate, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip.

Evil Geniuses has added Timothy “autimatic” Ta to their active CS:GO division, the North American organization announced on its Twitter account today. This roster change finally clears the air previously filled with a plethora of reports leading up to the 25-year-old’s fate after he was fired from T1 Valorant in early January.

After ending Counter Strike in February 2021, autimatic returned to compete professionally again in Valve’s first-person shooter, this time under the banner of Evil Geniuses alongside Stewie2K, Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, supervised by ex-G2 Esports trainer Damien “maLeK” Marcel.

Before signing up for Evil Geniuses CS:GO, autimatic spent nearly a year on T1 Valorant only to drop out of the roster in early 2022. Prior to the move, the Boston Major’s conquest of fame with Cloud9 began when he joined the latter from Complexity and won the said ELEAGUE Major trophy in Boston while representing the Los Angeles-based organization for three years. After joining Gen.G alongside Damian “Daps” Steele and Kenneth “Koosta” Suen, the Korean-American side triumphed at the DreamHack Open Anaheim but were soon forced to drop the list due to difficulties hampered by the ongoing coronavirus postpone pandemic.

Recent reports from and TalkEsport suggest that Evil Geniuses are looking to round out their roster with another familiar face from the Cloud9 iteration, William “RUSH” Wierzba, who has yet to be revealed, although his inclusion in the roster has already been teased became the team’s CEO, Nicole LaPointe Jameson.
