The cart, the myth, the legend.
The Epic Games Store has been around for three years, but a shopping cart feature was only added today. Perfect timing as year-end sales are approaching.
It’s a common feature in virtually every digital storefront as it’s an intuitive means that people can use to buy everything at once without having to backtrack and repeat the gibberish. People have been asking Epic since the store opened to implement a shopping cart that was even promised earlier this year.
While there is a new shopping cart feature, it is not have to use it. In fact, if you buy just one item, you can buy it right away without going through the extra menus. Alternatively, if you don’t have the cash or want to wait for a sale, you can wishlist games for a later date. The new shopping cart also makes it easy to redeem free games that you can try this month with Godfall Challenger and Prison Architect Edition.
You can access the shopping cart in the upper right corner of the Epic Games Store app. It’s as you’d expect, like a little trolley and shaped like that. As it starts to fill up, you will see a number showing how many items you have in your cart. You can then click on it and move on to buy or change what’s there e.g. B. Remove games.
As Epic Games said, “If you ever shop online, the shopping cart works exactly as you imagine it should.”
