Throughout the season, Alliance rarely played at their best. Or have you? But her performance and coordination weren’t enough to get her through.

Currently, Alliance is ranked 7th out of 8 Division 1 contestants. Along with Alliance, CoolGuys are also demoted.

In place of the two teams, Entity Europe and Team Brame will join Div 1. Hopefully they can measure themselves better.

Honestly, it’s not a shock anymore. Tier 2 teams have improved massively. Team Spirit also moved up from Div 2 to eventually win TI10.

Okcya and Handsken could be the first of the few changes to the Alliance Dota 2 roster.

Jonathan “Loda” Berg, the founder of Team Alliance, provided a lengthy statement regarding their retirement from Dota 2 Div 1. He explains his views and what his organization would do in the future.

Loda mentions that they will recover from this. They also believe that team members take defeat as a lesson.

But the team is also being rebuilt. There is nothing further to do before the 2nd tour starts. Also, the team has lost its mojo.

They are also mentally exhausted. There is currently no confirmation as to the number of changes.

In summary, we wish Team Alliance the best of luck in their future endeavors. Hope they recover from it.
