Astralis is undergoing changes in its CSGO roster. At the beginning of 2022, Astralis shouldn’t return to its major victories.
Astralis had a pretty tough 2020 season inflated by pandemic issues. There was also a drought in 2021.
Two years and no championship title for the Finnish team were a problem. Right now, Astralis is several big winners trying to rise from the ashes.
Today we say goodbye to three astralis legends. Good luck, Peter, Emil and Danny. You will be part of them forever #AstralisFamily. Thank you for everything. See you later. ️@dupreeh@MagiskCS@zonic pic.twitter.com/sNe4qcDnLm

The departure was compulsory as there is currently no space for the trio in the Astralis CSGO roster.
Astralis confirmed the departure of three members – Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif and trainer Danny “zonic” Sørensen. The trio left the trio as their contract expires in January 2022.
They are expected to join the Vitality team since reported by 1pv.fr in November to replace Richard “Shox” Papillon, Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van and head coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam. Vitality released their trio after they left the BLAST Premier World Finals.
Zonic and Dupreeh spent 5 years in the organization (3 for Magisk). During their stay in CS: GO they established the most dominant team era that ever existed.
Six years with @AstralisCS and it’s time to start a new challenge. Astralis, the team, players, fans and staff will always have a special place in my heart and will always be my home. I only wish you the best .. we will build something special❤️ #To the stars

Dupreeh and zonic won 4 majors with Astralis, most from each team or player. Surprisingly, three out of four majors were won in a row.
After signing Magisk in 2018, Astralis made a run that will be difficult to duplicate for several years. Together they won the FACEIT London Major 2018, IEM Katowice Major 2019 and StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, along with a whole host of trophies from the ESL Pro League to the BLAST Pro Series and even became the first squad to ever win the Intel Slam .

Excruciatingly, the trip would not be repeated until 2021. In addition, the roster only had 1 Grand Finals appearance, BLAST Premier Global Finals 2020 and 0 trophies.
It was also that AWPer Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz decided to step down and join NiP. As a result, things didn’t get any better for the rest of 2021.
As a result, Astralis looked weak compared to the world’s best. The platoon didn’t make it to the main playoffs either, and that was it for the core.
Shortly afterwards Benjamin ‘blameF’ Bremer and Chrisitan ‘k0nfig’ Wiencke were signed alongside coach ‘ave’. As a result, ‘dupreeh’, ‘Magisk’ and ‘zonic’ ended up on the sidelines. They don’t update their contracts.
After the Astralis CSGO roster changes, the training camp may feel a little empty.
Current Astralis CSGO squad:

- Philipp “Happy ”Ewald
- Benjamin”Fault F. ”Bremer
- Kristian “config ”Wienecke
- Alexander “ave ”Holdt (trainer)
- Lucas “Bubzkji ”Andersen (on the bench)
