CLG is continuing the reconstruction with the new squad of the LCS Academy in 2022

CLG continues resetting its. away League of Legends Division for the next year by signing a handful of rookie talent for the Academy list.

The organization wiped everything clean during the off-season, ditching all of their players on both their LCS and Academy teams. CLG also parted ways with the former General Manager Tafokints and hired a whole new coaching staff behind his new team.

For the Academy squad, CLG has taken over the former Top Laner Dhokla from Immortals and OpTic Gaming, the Jungler RoseThorn and the Mid-Laner Triple and reunites the former 100 Thieves Academy Bottom Laners Prismal and Breezyyy. You will try to forge a new development path for the team and try to reverse the unfortunate cycle the organization has locked itself in over the past two years.

CLG have been one of the bottom two teams in the league for the past four seasons, despite pitching a host of veterans including PowerOfEvil, Crown, WildTurtle, Pobelter, Broxah and Smoothie. However, these players have not been able to get things working in Summoner’s Rift. Some miserable results caused the team environment to deteriorate significantly in 2021, resulting in even more losses.

Next year, CLG’s new GM Jonathon McDaniels will lead the team behind the scenes along with new coaches Thinkcard and Croissant. CLG’s LCS roster will support Top-Laner Jenkins, Jungler Contractz, Mid-Laner Palafox, AD Carry Luger, and Poome.
