The legendary football coach and NFL broadcaster John Madden passed away yesterday, according to the NFL. Madden was 85 years old. In the statement, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wrote: “There will never be a John Madden again, and we will forever be indebted to him for all he has done to make football and the NFL what it is Today is.”

The first John Madden football game was released in 1988. It took three years to develop because Madden insisted on accuracy that computers could not achieve at the time. Jack from Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be released next March. Today the game’s Twitter account announced that three additional missions will be available to anyone who pre-orders the Digital Deluxe Edition. Trials of the Dragon King, Wanderer of the Rift, and Different Future are exclusive to Digital Deluxe and not sold separately, although the tweet doesn’t make it clear whether that means we can’t buy them as individual missions from unless we can buy them separately from the Digital Deluxe Edition. It’s also not clear whether these are exclusive to pre-orderers or whether everyone who buys the Digital Deluxe has access. We’ll have to wait for Square Enix to clarify exactly how these exclusive missions will work.

Fortnite has seen a huge influx of players over the Christmas holidays as the game was completely offline for over six hours today. Players who attempted to log in today were received with a “You are not authorized to play Fortnite” message. The Epic Game Store had similar login issues today, so the problem doesn’t seem to be specific to Fortnite. Fortunately, the servers were brought back online tonight and players shouldn’t have any problems logging into the game.
