Although the hype surrounding Netflix’s League of Legends series “Arcane” has subsided somewhat, Riot Games is starting with the announcement that it will use its own shimmer, Teamfight Tactics brings Silco from the successful animation show in February 2022.
Silco Comes to TFT: Gizmos and Gadgets marks the mid-set update for TFT Set 6. These mid-set updates usually change the game with new champions and traits, and Silco will make his debut in TFT before he even shows up in the game from which it originates. This is also the first time a champion or character makes his debut on TFT instead of League of Legends. Additionally, Riot stated that Silco could open the floodgates for future TFT exclusive characters and champions.
“Although Silco may be the first non-league unit to join TFT, even more outsiders could come to us in the future. Maybe some from outside Runeterra, ”said Rodger“ MinionsRpeople2 ”Caudill, the communications specialist behind TFT.
Riot recently shared its IP with other game titles to celebrate “Arcane”. These included Jinx appearing in Fortnite and character costumes in Among Us. But none of these traits were shared in League of Legends. That announcement could suggest that other IPs are intertwined with Riot titles, with perhaps TFT as the main target.
There are very few details about the role Silco will have in the game. In the official release of Riot, the developer shared some concept drawings and models of how Silco will look in TFT.
“While we’re not ready to release details about Silco’s gear yet,” said Caudill, “he’ll tell you he’ll be a mastermind when it comes to the fight.”
